Striker Isiaka heads to the Chats

By Ian Townsend

After a whistle-stop tour of Hastings, Kareem Isiaka is new at Chatham Town

Last week we announced the signing of forward Kareem Isiaka for Hastings United- but prior to the weekend he was announced as a new arrival at Chatham Town. Kareem was Hastings boss Paul Barnes last signing before his departure, so his move should perhaps come as no surprise.

Kareem was a youth player with Charlton Athletic, where he played Under 21 football. Upon leaving the Valley he spent time with National League South side Welling United, before buying some thermals and heading to the west coast of Iceland to play for UMF Víkingur Ólafsvík. After returning to the UK he decided on somewhere warmer, but not much warmer, heading to Scotland to play for Arbroath, but he finished last season at Billericay Town,

He made eighteen appearances for the Blues in the closing stages of last season, scoring six goals- and started this season in National League North with Bishop's Stortford.

He made his Chats debut on Saturday in victory at Concord Rangers, playing the first seventy three minutes.
