Striker Jackson moves to Gorleston

Pitching In Isthmian North new boys increase their attacking options

Gorleston have signed striker Liam Jackson from Norwich United, and gave him a debut from the bench in the FA Cup Extra Preliminary Round victory over Biggleswade United. He came on for the last half an hour or so, but his side were already four goals up by then!

Liam has spent most of his career with United, returning for last season after a year away with Leiston, where he managed eight goals in just twelve appearances. He had already scored more than a hundred goals for United before his departure to the Blues, including nineteen in our North Division. Canvey Island fans may remember him- in the nightmares- scoring four against them in one match in December 2017.
