Swifts add Premier Division defender

Shortly before kick off in yesterday's match against Canvey Island, Heybridge Swifts announced the signing of defender Mason Hall from Wingate and Finchley. He was introduced to the home faithful from the bench with nine minutes remaining, but by then it was too late for him to have any influence on the game, as his side were three-two down and couldn't find an equaliser.

Mason had made seven appearances at Summers Lane this season prior to his move, with five starts- the most recent in the two-two draw with Enfield Town on November 30th. He joined the club in August after leaving Leyton Orient. The Blues weren't his first experience of Isthmian life, as he spent some of last season on loan at Greenwich Borough.
