Talisman returns to Kingsmeadow

Kingstonian have welcomed back talismatic striker Bobby Traynor after he took a year's sabbatical from the Ryman League and football.

Traynor, 29, was Kingstonian manager Alan Dowson's first signing at the Premier Division club back in 2007. The three times winner of the Ryman League's Golden Boot, pictured, has already scored 154 goals in 255 appearances for the K's - placing him fourth in the club's all-time goalscoring charts.

Dowson said: "Bobby is a great pro and his record speaks for itself. His service to this club has been outstanding and we're all really excited to have him back."

Traynor's return to Kingsmeadow is well-timed after Dowson waved goodbye to another striker this week following Paul Vines switch to new league rivals Dulwich Hamlet.

Vines, who left by 'mutual consent', made twenty appearances and scored five times during his third spell with the K's.
