New manager Tuffs announces McGlashan, Black, Fernandes and Bohui

New Leatherhead manager Luke Tuffs hasn't wasted a moment since his arrival, and last night announced a new Assistant Player-Manager and a host of new signings.

That Assistant-with-boots is Jermaine McGlashan, the winger and occasional right back leaving National League South side Maidstone United to take his first step into management. Jermaine played professionally for Cheltenham Town, Gillingham, Southend United, Swindon Town and Chesterfield, but earlier in his career was a youth at Tooting & Mitcham United and also spent time with Staines Town, Merstham and Ashford Town. He may have moved from the Stones but he has also- like his new boss- moved from the Tangerines, where he has been joint-manager of the Under 18 squad.

Also heading to Fetcham Grove- or in this case, back to Fetcham Grove- is centre-back Cameron Black, who rejoins the club, once more on loan from Dorking Wanderers. Cameron first joined the Tanners in September on loan, and made ten appearances- scoring in the first two- before heading back to Meadowbank. He came through the Academy at Wanderers, playing for the Under 18's and Under 23's before graduating to the first team squad this season- one of four Academy graduates to be handed a first team squad number.

Another winger was up next, Farnborough man Michael Fernandes. Michael has spent the last two seasons with Colchester United, playing regularly for the Under 23 side and making the first team squad on several occasions. He also had loan spells at Dartford and at Farnborough, before signing for the Pitching In Southern Premier side in the summer.

And finally, yet another winger- it seems Luke is doing his best impression of Marcelo Bielsa! Josh Bohui moves over from Hayes & Yeading United. Josh was playing alongside Michael at Colchester United last season, but started his career in the Academies at Brentford and Manchester United- indeed he was a Red Devil for three years. He also played in Holland, for NAC Breda.
