Tanners bring in Margate striker

Oyenuga heads to Fetcham Grove

Leatherhead have signed striker Kudus Oyenuga from Margate- and gave him his debut in defeat at Corinthian-Casuals on Saturday. It seems he must have picked up an injury, as he came on as a substitute in the forty sixth minutes and was then himself substituted thirty minutes later- unless Leatherhead have suddenly replaced manager Nikki Bull with Duncan Ferguson!

Kudus made fourteen appearances for Gate this season, scoring five times- including a hat trick against Kingstonian in August, but had recently been confined to the bench. A former Tottenham Hotspur youth player, he also played for Hayes & Yeading United, and in Scotland for St Johnstone, Cowdenbeath, Greenock Morton and Dundee United.

Back south of the border, he turned out for Hartlepool United, Chelmsford City, Dartford and- last season- Haringey Borough. He made seven appearances for the White Hart Lane based side, scoring their goal in Playoff Semi-Final defeat against Tonbridge Angels.
