Tanners launch an Under 23 side

Leatherhead last night announced the establishment of an Under 23 side from next season- which will play in the Isthmian Development League.

The side will be a joint venture with Leatherhead Youth FC, and will be sponsored by the Tanners Supporters Club. A statement, which you can find here, explains:

The U23s, in a joint venture with LYFC, will now provide a clear pathway for all the youth players from U7 to U18 from LYFC to first team semi-pro football. Both the U23s and first team will train alongside each other on Wednesday nights at River Lane. The U23s will play all home games at River Lane on Saturday afternoons at 3pm, and will be sponsored by the TSC (Tanners Supporters Club).
