Chatham Town sign Monserrat international defender Joey Taylor

Chatham Town have announced the signing of defender Joey Taylor, formerly of Cray Wanderers, and included him in their squad for the FA Cup victory at Little Common this afternoon.

Joey joined Cray Wanderers a year ago this month, after he moved up a Division from Sevenoaks Town. He managed only five appearances for the club.

He made ten appearances for Oaks before the 2020-21 season crashed to a halt, and thirteen in the previous campaign after moving to the club at the end of 2019.

Joey has previously played for Welling United, Burgess Hill Town, East Grinstead Town, Whyteleafe, Hythe Town, Horsham and Staines Town. He was part of the Hornets squad that won promotion from the South East Division in 2018-19, and prior to the Oaks was at Staines Town.
