Teniola Time again- and Gibbs joins the Millers party too

Alex and Harry head back to Aveley

Just in case you missed the news- we didn't, but didn't have time to write about it- Aveley announced the signing of Alex Teniola from Heybridge Swifts and Harry Gibbs from Hornchurch just before Saturday's goalless draw with Hullbridge Sports.

Alex has only been back at Swifts a short time. He left the club in the summer of 2020 after a sensational season during which he scored twenty three goals- who knows how many he'd have scored had we managed to actually finish the campaign. He was snapped up by National League South side Chelmsford City, but his time as a Claret was cut even shorter than his time as a Swift.

He previously turned out for the Millers, Phoenix Sports, Thamesmead Town, Dulwich Hamlet and Greenwich Borough.

Harry left the Millers in October of last year to join Hornchurch, after one hundred and twenty nine appearances and twelve goals- not bad for a defender! He has also played for Brentwood Town. He made two appearances for the Urchins this season, but sadly had to watch them win the FA Trophy last season from the sidelines as he was cup-tied, having played for the Millers in the competition already.

Where next?

Wingate give K's the Blues, Casuals and Stortford get four- but Chichester and Chertsey do better, with six! We had goals galore last night- including an eight goal thriller at East Grinstead Town- as unbeaten records disappeared and late goals spoiled or started a number of parties. It's our round up.
Brown-Bampoe-Barking- and Allsopp! Two Blue signings, in case you missed them
