Terrors in the Times

Tooting featured in today's Sunday Times

Tooting & Mitcham United FC Joint Managers Ashley Bosah and Cornelius Nwadialor have been featured in today’s (14th June 2020) Sunday Times.

The article talks about how the club supports the local community, often giving players several chances to improve. Nwadialor explains:

“That’s what we do differently- we go the extra mile”.

He also speaks proudly of the clubs diversity:

“We’ve got different ages, backgrounds, religions, sexualties, everything. That’s why, when people come around the club, they are wowed by it and what we’re trying to do.”

The article also tackles the issue of diversity in football management, highlighted by Raheem Steerling last week. “With black players on that level speaking about it, we can only hope that it picks up momentum and it drives the conversation” explained Bosah. “I’m hoping that will stir up change…”

The short version of the article is featured above- but for the entire article, found here, you'll have to be a Times subscriber, sadly.
