The Angel of Pitsea

Bowers and Pitsea last night announced another addition to their squad for 2020-21, with the arrival at the Len Salmon of Tonbridge Angels defender Alex Bentley.

Alex was an almost ever-present for Angels in National League South last season, and prior to that was a mainstay of the Hornchurch side which was incredibly successful under Jim McFarlane, spending seven seasons with the club and playing almost three hundred times. He tends to play at full back, but is also comfortable in midfield.

Alex previously spent time with Cray Wanderers and Dagenham and Redbridge, and a brief period with Bromley.
