The Highlights!

By Ian Townsend

Some of the best bits from Saturday, with goals from Bognor, Cray W & PM, Enfield Town, Invicta, Lewes, Worthing, Dereham, Grays and more. Forty one goals, if you're counting.

We had some fine football on Saturday, and we thought we'd bring you some of the best bits as we rev up for another round of fixtures this evening.

We're going to start in the Pitching In Isthmian Premier, and at Bognor Regis Town, who got back to winning ways by the royal seaside with victory over Potters Bar Town.

Next up, we've a truly sunning set of highlights. Comebacks and goals galore- nine of them- as Cray Wanderers hosted Carshalton Athletic.

Folkestone Invicta took all three points from Wingate and Finchley- but only just.

Enfield Town travelled to Kingstonian, and the two shared eight goals- although not equally!

Lewes and Brightlingsea Regent played out a two-two draw at the Dripping Pan. That's up next.

Finally for our top tier, Worthing's draw with Hornchurch slightly blunted their charge at the top.

Into the Pitching In Isthmian North next. Dereham Town stuck five past AFC Sudbury, so those of a yellows persuasion might want to look away now.

Grays Athletic went one better, getting six at Romford.

Stowmarket Town got only one, but it was rather valuable, as it gave them a win over Heybridge Swifts.

We don't have any Pitching In Isthmian South Central footage, unless you know different. On that basis we're off into the Pitching In Isthmian South East Division, where we start, for the first time in this round up, with no goals whatsoever!

Cray Valley PM and East Grinstead Town obviously scored all theior goals the last time they met, as they had none left on Saturday.

Start with one goalless draw, and these things breed! Here's what turned out to be Shaun Saunders last game in charge of Haywards Heath Town, as they hosted Lancing.

Sevenoaks Town's win over Phoenix Sports did have goals- two of them!

And that seems to be your lot. Let us know if we've missed any!
