The Rams will run five hundred miles, and then they'll run five hundred more...

And then they'll run another four thousand- and all for charity

Ramsgate have announced a novel way for their players and staff to keep fit during lockdown. They are embarking on a virtual run which will take in every Pitching In Isthmian Step Four club, and deliver a donation to fifty nine different local charities chosen by those fifty nine clubs.

The run, which started with a run 'to' Dereham Town and continued on to Soham Town Rangers and Cambridge City, has a charity target of three thousand pounds- but that will be doubled if each of the 'visted' clubs also puts in fifty pounds.

The Rams would like all of their supporters- and indeed supporters everywhere- to contribute, and to encourage the runners. You can donate here, and follow progress on Twitter- here.
