Three new Seed Growers

By Ian Townsend

Ben Search, Darnell Kithambo and Josh Osude make their first starts for Coggeshall Town

Coggeshall Town, bottom of Pitching In Isthmian North, were rather impressive in taking a point at promotion-chasing Felixstowe and Walton United in midweek- and they had three debutants helping them do it.

Ben Search, a midfielder, has had two spells with the Seed Growers neighbours, Witham Town. He has also spent time with East Thurrock United, but came through the youth setup at Concord Rangers and progressed from the Under thirteen side right through every age group until joining the first team squad.

Forward Darnell Kithambo came through the Academy at Boreham Wood, making his first team debut in December 2019. He has also played for Ilford and Clapton, before moving on to sign for Leatherhead in October 2021, playing four times and almost getting lost amongst the eighty six players the Tanners used last season. He ended the previous campaign at Great Wakering Rovers, playing eighteen times and scoring on six occasions, before moving on to East Thurrock United, where he has played ten times this season.

Josh Osude is a signing we already told you about prior to the festive season- here.
