Three new Wands

By Ian Townsend

Three new signings, three new debutants for Cray Wanderers

Last night's football didn't just mark three points for Cray Wanderers but three debutants, two from the start and one from the bench.

Perhaps the biggest mark was made by winger Kyel Reid, who scored the opening goal. Kyel came through the youth ranks at West Ham United, and has had a fine professional career which has seen him play for Charlton Athletic, Sheffield United, Bradford City, Preston North End, Coventry City, Colchester United, Chesterfield and Sutton United, before moving on to Billericay Town.

He has most recently been with Walton Casuals.

Central defender Ethan Kaiser moves up from Pitching In Isthmian South Central side Bedfont Sports, for whom he has made twenty three appearances this season- including in that famous victory over Dulwich Hamlet earlier this season. he also played against his new club in FA Trophy defeat last month. he was previously with Carshalton Athletic, left the Robins to sign for Queens Park Rangers, and has also spent time with Tooting & Mitcham United and Tonbridge Angels.

Erald Desa made his debut from the bench. Striker Erald has previously played for Welwyn Garden City, Brimsdown and our very own Cheshunt, and has most recently been with Enfield Town, but seemingly played only once, in the Middlesex County Cup match against Bedfont Sports last month.

We believe he also has youth international experience with Albania.
