Three special K’s

Brennan revamps the Kingstonian defence

Kingstonian’s rearguard could have a rather different look about it this weekend, as manager Dean Brennan today welcomed three new additions to his defence.

First in was a centre back, with the arrival of experienced former Barnet, AFC Wimbledon, Woking and Hemel Hempstead Town man Ismail Yakubu. Next came a right back, and one that many Bostik League aficionados will be familiar with, as the new arrival is former Enfield Town, Folkestone Invicta and Bishop’s Stortford man Jonathan Muleba- who moves to Kingston from Braintree Town.

Finally, a cross-Surrey and inter-Bostik move, withnthe arrival of Merstham left back Tom Bird, who starts his third spell with the club. Tom has made thirty appearances for the Moatsiders this season, scoring- perhaps unusually for a full back- four goals.
