Bury Town defender/midfielder takes a very large step upwards


Bury Town have announced that young defender/midfielder Ross Crane has signed a two-year deal with big-boy neighbours Ipswich Town.

Ross, who was part of the Academy setup at another local rival, AFC Sudbury, before heading to Ram Meadow just before the start of last season, made thirty six appearances as Town ended the last campaign in fifth place in the North Division. His breakthrough season was 2018-19, where he made fourteen appearances as a seventeen year old for the Yellows.
