Departed Faal is Fans Player of the Year at Enfield Town

Enfield Town last night became the latest club to announce their awards after some socially-distant voting, and the Supporters Player of the Year was departed forward Muhammadu Faal, who left the club for Bolton Wanderers in early January.

Prior to his departure from Donkey Lane Muhammadu was in magnificent form, spearheading Town's promotion charge with twenty four goals in twenty five appearances, after scoring three in five at the end of the previous campaign. He signed an eighteen month contract with Wanderers after appearing in a number of trial games for their Under 23 side.

Prior to his move to Donkey Lane, the player turned out for Kingstonian and Dulwich Hamlet.

Responding to news of his win via social media, the player sent a message which read: "Big thanks to the fans for this award! Much Appreciated."

The Players- and Managers- Player of the Season Awards both went to someone who is still at the club, Scott Thomas. Defensive midfielder Scott joined the club in July, and previously played for Royston Town, Hemel Hempstead Town, Chesham United, St Albans City and Boreham Wood.
