True gents take over for ladies day

By David Watters

After seeing their ladies sponsor their Ryman South clash with Chipstead on Saturday, the male volunteers and officials at Chatham Town made sure they got to put their feet up for once and enjoy the occasion.

To thank the female half of the club's backroom team for sponsoring the fixture and all their hard work throughout the 10 months of the season, the club's men acted like true gentlemen, taking over all the duties at The Sports Ground to ensure for the first ever Chatham Town Ladies Day.

Despite the 1-0 home defeat at The Sports Ground, the Chats are already looking forward to next season and their gents were still smiling after a busy day's extra duties including laying on all the hospitality for the penultimate home game of the campaign at their recently extended club house.
