Ryman League Premier Division

Tuesday night saw Margate lose their unbeaten record and leadership of the Ryman League's Premier Division table to Kent rivals Maidstone United, writes Pitchero's Steve Whitney.

A last-gasp winner from substitute Laurent Hamici gave Dulwich Hamlet a stunning victory over previously undefeated Margate in front of a crowd of 811 at Champion Hill. Lewis Taylor had given the visitors a 15th minute lead that Lewis Gonsalves cancelled out 10 minutes into the second half.

Maidstone ensured last season`s play-off losers AFC Hornchurch remain win-less after a 2-0 success at Bridge Road, top scorer Frannie Collin giving the Stones an 18th minute lead that Alex Flisher doubled six minutes later.

Bognor Regis Town earned their first three-point haul of the season to date, edging out newly-promoted VCD Athletic 2-1 at Nyewood Lane with Harvey Whyte giving the Rocks an 11th minute lead that Ollie Pearce doubled nine minutes into the second half. Leigh Bremner replied just past the hour-mark but the hosts hung on for that vital first victory.

Hampton & Richmond Borough, who lost their opening five matches, made it back-to-back wins on Tuesday at Earlsmead against ten-man Harrow Borough.

Steve Butterworth have Boro an early 10th minute lead that Billy Dunn eventually cancelled out in the 66th minute. But the turning point of the game came with a couple of minutes left when Michael Peacock was sent-off for being `last man` and Ben Harris duly converted the resultant penalty to win the game for the Beavers.

Enfield Town's good start under their new management team continued with a 2-1 home win against Tonbridge Angels.

Corey Whitely gave Town the lead five minutes into the second half. Billy Medlock equalised on 73 minutes, but up popped defender Taylor Hastings to win it for the hosts in injury-time.

Witham Town`s excellent start to life in the Premier Division continued with a 1-0 win over third-placed Wingate & Finchley, courtesy of a goal from Danny Emmanuel six minutes into the second half.

Canvey Island had striker Victor Osobu sent-off three minutes into the second half at home to Hendon, whose Kezie Ibe had given them an 18th minute lead - a lead they held.

East Thurrock United gained a good 2-1 win at Leiston, taking a 13th minute lead from the recently-returned Sam Higgins. Leon Ottley-Gooch levelled on 34 minutes, but Joe Jefford`s own goal four minutes into the second half eventually proved decisive.
