Dulwich Hamlet defender Cem Tumkaya heads back to Cray Valley PM- and keeper Max Ovenden also makes a return

Cray Valley PM had a 'new' name in their squad for their FA Cup draw at Northwood on Saturday, although he wasn't really new at all. They also had a 'new' man between the sticks.

Cem Tumkaya was an enormous part of the Millers success over the last few years, helping them to promotion to our level, reaching the FA Vase Final, and of course impressing during their run to the First Round of the FA Cup during the covid-hit 20-21 campaign. He made his Millers debut aged just sixteen, and left the club in the summer for Dulwich Hamlet after playing two hundred and thirty six times in green.

He seems to have played only twice for Hamlet, in the opening day draw with Hashtag United and the following Saturday, a defeat against Hastings United.

In goal for that match against the Woods was new signing Max Ovenden. Max was with Haringey Borough last season, making fourteen appearances He was previously with the Millers dueing their triumphant 18-19 campaign, and has also played for Lordswood, Thamesmead Town and Punjab United. In his younger days he spent time with the Academies at Fulham, Leyton Orient, Q.P.R. and Watford.
