Josh Osude and Correy Davidson sign on at Grays Athletic

Grays Athletic yesterday announced the signing of forward Josh Osude and midfielder Correy Davidson.

Josh joined Witham Town in February, and was an immediate hit, scoring seven goals in twelve appearances as his new side escaped the drop. His final match for Town was an important one, as he scored in the relegation play off victory over Saffron Waldon Town- but he also got two against Romford in the last match of the season, a victory which effectively earned that play off chance.

Josh joined Town from Hashtag United, where he made fifteen appearances for last season. This was his second Hashtag spell, and in between the two the winger has played in National League South for Braintree Town and, also in the Pitching In Isthmian League, for Tilbury, where he made seven appearances early last season.

Correy comes back to Grays from AFC Sudbury, where he ended last season after signing in March. The midfielder had been plying his trade two levels higher, with National League South side Braintree Town.

Correy previously played for Grays, and also spent time with Witham Town, Bowers and Pitsea and Coggeshall Town, He played Premier football with Bishop's Stortford, making twelve appearances during 2021-22 before moving on to Braintree.

Higher still, as well as the Irons he has also spent time with Concord Rangers and Kidderminster Harriers.
