Two for Town

Witham Town have signed two players from North Division rivals. Both made their debuts yesterday, but they couldn't stop their new side from falling to FA Cup defeat at Stamford.

First in came Joe Skeels from Hulbridge Sports. Skeels was an important part of Sports title win last season, but had not yet featured in the BetVictor Isthmian North Division and left the club at the end of last month. He has previously played for Great Wakering Rovers and Burnham Ramblers, amongst others.

Joe was joined by Grays Athletic's Callum Taylor. Callum, a forward, only joined Athletic from Basildon United in May, but made only one start this season- in victory over his former club on August Bank Holiday Monday. he made twenty appearances for the Bees last season, scoring five goals, and previously played for Bishop's Stortford.
