By Ian Townsend

A defender and a striker for Cray Wanderers

Cray Wanderers have announced two new arrivals, with the signing of defender Denzel Williams and striker Narcis-Florin Filip.

Denzel, originally from Chingford in Essex, moved to the North West at the age of fourteen to sign for Blackpool. He became a professional in the summer of 2017, after spending some time on loan at Marine, and also had loan time at Bamber Bridge. he moved on to Wigan Atjletic and then ended up back in the south east, where he has played for Pitching In Southern Premier side Hayes & Yeading United. He has also played for SCEFL side Glebe.

Narcis-Florin Filip has most recently been playing for another of our Pitching In Isthmian Premier sides, Haringey Borough. He made seven appearances for the club, making his debut in the defeat at Lewes on November 13th, scoring his only goal in a County Cup win at Tooting & Mitcham United in January, and making his last appearance in the defeat against Leatherhead last month. Prior to his time with Borough he played for FC Romania, these days in the Pitching In Southern League, and for Hoddesdon Town.
