Kemal, who was forced to step down for personal reasons in 2015 after guiding the Ryman North club for two years and second spot in the Southern League's Division One Central before leaving, will start his five game mission at home to Witham Town with his new charges third from bottom.
In a statement announcing the change of management, officials at Wodson Park said ongoing work commitments in the football industry and a desire to give a fresh face a chance to lead the club's ongoing survival battle had led to the resignation of former Dagenham & Redbridge star Uddin three months after he took over from Ken Charlery with his Blues third from bottom.
Thanking Uddin and his staff, the Blues added: "The club would like to thank Anwar and his management team of Steve Clark, Danny Foster and Richard Bates for their hard work and professionalism over the past three months.

"They took over the club under extremely difficult circumstances, creating much-needed stability and assembling a team that has performed well without getting the points they deserve in recent weeks. We now turn our attention to this Saturday's home fixture against Witham Town at Wodson Park."
Uddin, the first person of Bangladeshi origin to play professional football in England and British Asian to captain a football club in the top four divisions of English football, kicked off career at West Ham, where he was a member of their FA Youth Cup winning side of 1999. After a career that took in Sheffield Wednesday and Bristol Rovers, the 35-year-old defender is best remembered as captain of first Dagenham & Redbridge and then Barnet.
