Edegbe debuts once more in Bedfont win

Uxbridge fans had a new number one between the sticks during Monday's win over Bedfont Sports, but he might have been familiar to some of those present as he previously played at Honeycroft.

Michael Edegbe has most recently been turning out for Slough Town at Under 23 and first team level; indeed he was in first team action for the Rebels as recently as Boxing Day, and has made four first team appearances at National League South level.

He made four appearances at Honeycroft during the 2019-20 season, losing only one of them, and one of those appearances was also against Bedfont Sports- on that occasion a draw.

He has previously had loan time at Egham Town this season.

He is pictured- image courtesy of Slough Town- collecting the Man of the Match Award for his role in knocking Eastbourne Borough out of the FA Trophy last month. He's the tall one in the tracksuit, just in case you're having difficulty picking him out!
