Dulwich Hamlet 2-2 Macclesfield Town, FA Trophy Quarter Final, 25/02/17 | Match Highlights

Highlights of Dulwich's 2-2 draw against Macclesfield Town in the FA Trophy. The Hamlet welcomed the Silkmen to Champion Hill on what was widely regarded as being one of the biggest games in the club's history, but it seemed like the day would be a disappointing one in the opening exchanges, as two excellent long-range strikes from Luke Summerfield gave the visitors a 2-0 lead. However, the hosts would not lay down, and gave themselves hope of something from the day after 25 minutes, Quade Taylor netting his first ever goal for the side from a corner. Dulwich piled on the pressure for the remainder of the half, with Scott Flinders making one good save to deny Marc Weatherstone. Into the second half, and Macclesfield thought they had restored their two goal lead, only for the offside flag to deny Chris Holroyd. Dulwich had looked good going forward without carving out too many goalscoring opportunities, but with just three minutes remaining, some excellent one-touch football just outside the Silkmen penalty area saw the ball fall to Ashley Carew, who produced a magical finish to draw the hosts level, and set up an unlikely replay at Moss Rose on Tuesday evening.
