Vita Risk Solutions: Manager of the Month Award, November 2023

Premier Division

Hornchurch had a magnificent October, and we gave boss Steve Morison a nice, shiny award to celebrate. He got another in September. And now he’ll have to rearrange his shelves to accommodate a third!

November saw the Urchins face Enfield Town, Cheshunt, Potters Bar Town and Kingstonian. It saw them win each of those matches, score fourteen goals, and concede the princely sum of…none. There isn’t much else to say apart from congratulations Steve- at this rate we might as well by a Hornchurch season ticket, given the amount of time we’re spending at Bridge Avenue distributing prizes!

North Division

We were at the seaside last month, and this time we’re off to the seaside again, but it’s a different seaside as we honour Lowestoft Town boss Jamie Godbold.

The Trawler Boys crushed everything in front of them during November. Heybridge swifts were defeated six-nil, Redbridge four-two, Wroxham two-nil and Walthamstow three-two, as they established a four point lead at the top of the table by turning in some magnificent performances.

Congratulations to Jamie on a super November and a fine campaign so far.

South Central Division

Chertsey Town fans must have enjoyed November immensely, as their side didn’t concede a single goal! The highlights for the top-of the-table Curfews were the victories over South Park, Guernsey and Southall, but in truth the season has so far been a bit of a highlight all of its own. November saw them score ten league goals and concede two.

Our congratulations go to Town boss Mark Harper, our Vita Risk Solutions Manager of the Month for the South Central Division.

South East Division

We’re off to the Kentish seaside for the second month in a row, and surely nobody can be surprised? Oh, and given this award is based on league matches alone, we’re not even going to mention FA Cup heroics!

Ramsgate boss Ben Smith saw his side play six league matches in November, win five of them, draw the other, score eighteen goals, concede three, and climb to the top of the table. They’ve been impressive for the entire campaign, and we’re sure they’ll continue to impress going forward, so this might not be our last visit to the WW Martin Community Stadium.

Congratulations again to Ben, and to all at the club.
