Vita Risk Solutions Manager of the Month Awards: January 2022

Premier Division

Hornchurch ended last season by winning the FA Trophy- and given their recent form we wouldn’t want to bet against a successful end to this season, too! Mark Stimson’s side were back to their best in January, taking nineteen points from the twenty one on offer. They defeated Bowers & Pitsea, Brightlingsea Regent, Bishop’s Stortford and some sides not beginning with B, namely Margate, Horsham and Lewes. They only dropped points against League leaders Worthing, and even then left the south coast with a point.

Congratulations to Mark and to all at Bridge Avenue.

North Division

Aveley ended January looking down on the rest, after a superb start to the year for Danny Scope’s side. Romford, Hashtag United, Heybridge Swifts, Brentwood Town and Barking were all vanquished, and perhaps even more impressively not one of those sides managed to score a single goal.

Congratulations to Danny and his Parkside posse.

South Central Division

We’ve already given our London Geordies one prize today, and now we’re off to the Powerday once more, as Chris Moore and Wayne Carter share our Manager of the Month prize. The Geordies have had a quite remarkable January, scoring twenty goals and conceding none- we’re surprised those other Geordies weren’t sending scouts to West London before the transfer window slammed shut! Tooting, Staines Town, Westfield, Uxbridge and Sutton Common Rovers were all vanquished. Congrats to Chris, Wayne, and all in black and white.

South East Division

It’s time to send plaudits to Mid Sussex, and to heap them on Jay Lovett, the manager of Burgess Hill Town. We’ve already given the Hillians one prize this morning, and now they have another, courtesy of a January which saw them win every single match and vanquish leaders Hastings United, along with Cray Valley PM, VCD Athletic, Sittingbourne and Whitehawk. A magnificent month which sets the Hillians up for a run at the playoffs. Congratulations to Jay, and to all at the More Than Tyres Stadium.
