Wands have their keeper

Cray Wanderers bring in their new number one- and he's got a big pedigree

Cray Wanderers have announced that their new goalkeeper will be Jack Turner, who comes in from National League South side Slough Town.

Jack announced his departure from Slough at the end of last month, after four years, one hundred and seventy five appearances, a Southern Premier Division Playoff win and three National League South seasons, sadly the last two interrupted.

He joined Slough Town from our very own Staines Town, where he had been for four years- very successfully indeed, and at one point- the 2016-17 season- he faced twelve penalties and saved eight of them! During the 2014-15 season he also scored a goal against Whitehawk, from his own penalty area.

Jack knows his new manager, Danny Kedwell, from a period when they both played together for AFC Wimbledon.
