Ware granted FA Charter status

Blues adult and youth sections make the grade

Ware have become the latest Pitching In Isthmian League club to attain FA Charter Standard.

The FA Charter Standard programme exists to positively improve the football experience through league and club accreditation. It recognises and rewards leagues and clubs who own their game; those who play their part in making their football environment safe, fun and inclusive by raising standards, raising awareness and taking action.

As well as their first team, who were in third place in the South Central Division when last season was brought to a premature end, the club operates sides from Under six through to under eighteen, and an under twenty three side.

The club explain:

'We are delighted this has been achieved and it shows our continued commitment to raise the standards of everything we do at Ware FC.

Our youth system from U7-U18 plus the U23 development side and first team have been going from strength to strength and being able to show parents and players that The FA recognise this also is a big achievement.'
