Wasps Walsh new at the Nuts and Bolts

By Ian Townsend

Max Walsh is new at Ashford United

The weekend saw a new arrival at Ashford United, as Max Walsh made the move from Pitching In Isthmian South East rivals East Grinstead Town.

Max has perhaps been the Wasps stand out performer this season, and the midfielder perhaps came to the attention of his new club when he scored four goals against them in a six nil victory at the end of September! Those four goals were amongst nine he has scored this season, in twenty nine appearances- and he has already done the double over the Nuts and Bolts.

He made his Town debut in February 22, and made thirteen appearances as that season came to an end, followed by forty three last season. He joined the Wasps from Bexhill United, but he hadn't been there long, as he started the 21-22 campaign at Sevenoaks Town, making fifteen appearances.

He was previously with AFC Uckfield Town, and with Hastings United.
