Wednesday night round up

By Ian Townsend

A brief summary of last night's action

We had a handful of pre-season friendlies last night, and we're going to start at Burgess Hill Town, who welcomed a side from Brighton & Hove Albion. There was but one goal, and it came in the third minute, Josh Spinks the first to react to a corner and forcing the ball home. Congratulations to the Hillians on their giant scalp, and our headline image is from Chris Neal- more here.

Sevenoaks Town had a very impressive end to last season, and they've been impressive in pre-season, too. last night they welcomed Cray Wanderers and recorded yet another victory, winning four-one. None of the scorers have been noted- perhaps they were all trialists!

Down the road from Greatness Park, Corinthian held Ebbsfleet United to a one-one draw, Joe Tyrie with the goal, whilst even further down the road in Ramsgate the Rams were also welcoming a National League side, in their case Dover Athletic. The hosts recorded an impressive three-nil win.
