Hendon moved back into third place in the Ryman Premier table on Wednesday night following a best-of-five win over Leatherhead at Fetcham Grove, writes Pitchero's Steve Whitney.

Leon Smith gave the visiting Greens a 19th minute lead that he swiftly doubled just two minutes later. Matt Smart reduced the arrears on the half-hour mark, only for Casey Maclaren to restore Hendon`s two-goal cushion seven minutes later. Becka Kah Dembele pulled the home side back into the game in the 65th minute but couldn't find a second after going down to ten men soon afterwards.

Grays Athletic moved up to seventh after beating Bury Town 2-0 at Mill Field.

Jamie Guy gave the hosts the lead eight minutes before half-time and despite the Suffolk side battling hard to get back into the game, Freddie Ladapo finally killed the visitors off with a second goal in the final few seconds.

Peacehaven & Telscombe made it five games without a win after going down to a 2-1 defeat at home against Kingstonian.

Andre McCollin broke the deadlock by putting the K`s in front immediately after half-time. James Fraser equalised on the hour-mark but the visitors won it with 18 minutes remaining, courtesy of Sam Page.

Not too far away, Lewes and VCD Athletic, shared a 2-2 draw at the Dripping Pan.

The game involving two of the bottom three saw Jack Dixon put the Rooks ahead after 32 minutes. Ten minutes later the Vickers were back on level terms through Karl Dent. Substitute Michael Power then put the visitors in front with 12 minutes to go but five minutes later Terry Dodd, who also came off the bench, pulled the home side back on terms.
