Wednesday's Ryman South action review

By David Watters

The only game in Ryman South on Wednesday night saw South Park entertain third-bottom Sittingbourne looking to move to within a point of the play-off places, writes Pitchero's Steve Whitney.

But the Kent visitors travelled to the King George`s Field on the back of a win over Chatham Town last weekend.

However, they fell behind when, following a scramble, one of their defenders bundled the ball past his own keeper in the 34th minute.

Sittingbourne managed an equaliser just shy of the hour-mark through Steven Ita to eventually earn a share of the points and leave them now only one point adrift of the safety-mark.
