Whyte and Tangara to remain Rocks

Bognor confirm two important signings as the planning for 21-22 continues

Bognor Regis Town have confirmed- via the local paper- that skipper Harvey Whyte and keeper Amadou Tangara will be remaining with the club next season.

Tangara joined the club in October 2019 after leaving Kingstonian, and- of course- also played for Merstham and Dulwich Hamlet. He has been superb behind the Rocks defence since his arrival, making fourteen appearances last season before it crashed to an end, twenty nine during 2019-20 before the pandemic hit.

Whyte first signed permanently for the club five years ago, and has been perhaps the first name on the teamsheet ever since. He made a dozen appearances last season, thirty seven the season before- scoring the last goal of the campaign against Horsham before the world closed down- and had made the number seven shirt his own until last season, when he switched to number four!
