Wilks is new for the Blues

Dartford keeper Dan Wilks is the latest to join the Gary McCann revolution at Billericay

Billericay Town's squad strengthening for the forthcoming season continued this morning with the arrival of Dartford goalkeeper Dan Wilks.

Dan was a youth plater with Watford before heading north of the border to play for St Mirren. He first appeared in our ranks in 2016, when he turned out for Maldon & Tiptree, and he went on to spend some time with Whitehawk before joining Welling United.

Biggleswade Town was his next stop, before a move to Princes Park at the start of 2021. He quickly endeared himself to the Darts faithful, winning the Away Player of the season and Supporters Player of the Season awards during 21-22, but then missed a great swathe of last season after picking up an injury in August.
