Worthing should take their own food to Hornchurch

No, the Urchins catering crew haven't gone on strike! The club are taking donations for a local foodbank

The AFC Hornchurch Supporters Association have partnered with the Rainham Foodbank to support those going hungry across the UK. They will have a stall in front of the clubhouse at every home match between now and mid December, starting with the visit of the Mackerel Men on Saturday, and would be delighted if supporters could take along a donation.

The foodbank are particularly looking for any of the following:

CREAM CRACKERS
ASSORTED NUTS
SWEETS
CHOCOLATES
SMALL CHRISTMAS PUDDINGS
MINCE PIES
TINNED HAM
TINNED MEATS
TINNED VEG
TINNED POTATOES
TINNED PEACHES
TINNED SOUP
CARNATION MILK
SMALL COFFEE JARS
JARS OF ONIONS/RED CABBAGE/GHERKINS

We're sure they wouldn't turned down tinned Mackerel, either!

The Urchins will host Chipstead, Potters Bar Town, Great Wakering Rovers and Kingstonian during the run up to Christmas, too, and would undoubtedly grateful if any wise men (or women) turned up bearing gifts.
