Young Rocks run for local food bank

East Thurrock's Under 13's pull on their trainers to run to St George's Park

East Thurrock United's Under 13 side have decided to make sure they are in shape for the restart of football by running three hundred and twenty two miles between them- the distance between home and the FA National Football Centre in Burton on Trent. They explain:

"Our main aim is to raise much needed funds for Thurrock Foodbank, however it is also a way of getting the boys active and fitter before we hopefully restart our season, which, fingers crossed will be 29 March 2021."

You can help them on their way with a donation, which you can make by heading to their Just Giving Page, which you will find here.

The best of luck to all the players- here's hoping you make lots of money for the Foodbank and get yourselves into peak physical condition!
