Angels clip their wings

Tonbridge release three players

The board of Tonbridge Angels have decided to significantly reduce the first team budget- and that has forced manager Steve McKimm to immediately release three members of his first team squad.

Dan Thompson, Tom Jelley and Ryan Worrall are the players affected, and each is now looking for a new club. McKimm, speaking to the club website, stated, 'I want to make it clear that these players have never let me down since they have been at Longmead, and have always given 100% for the team and the club. I thank them for their efforts and wish them the very best of luck for the future.”
