Agyemang new at the Blues

Brentwood Town prepared for their top-of-the-table clash with Folkestone Invicta on Saturday by bringing in Montel Agyemang from National League South promotion chasers Horsham- on a dual-registration deal. 

Midfielder Montel came through the ranks at Leyton Orient, making his first team debut for the O's before heading our way for the first time, on loan at Grays Athletic. He played twenty seven times for Grays during the 2015-16 campaign.

He went on to play for Maldon and Tiptree, East Thurrock United and Wealdstone before heading to Welling United, where he remained for two and a half years until, as we approached the 21-22 campaign, he signed for Margate. He made a colossal fifty two appearances during that season, and then spent a season with Billericay Town, playing thirty six times. He was back at Hartsdown Park for the 23-24 season, but suffered a serious injury early on which kept him out for the rest of the campaign. 

September 2024 brought a move to Horsham, and he played thirty one times as the Hornets took our title and the Sussex Senior Cup.
