Carrington of City

Cambridge City's latest arrival is Eddie Carrington.

Eddie played for both Brentford and Tottenham Hotspur at Academy level, and was a right winger and an occasional right back for the Under 18 side at White Hart Lane. After leaving Spurs he spent time with Potters Bar Town, Leatherhead and Ramsgate, and then briefly for Billericay Town.

After a spell with Waltham Abbey he headed to Sweden to play for Ytterhogdals IK, and then after some time at Arlesey Town he moved to Heybridge Swifts, where he played thirty seven times last season and scored seven goals. He played six times for Redbridge this season, and then made his debut for City in defeat against the Motormen on Saturday.
