Bostik Supporters Preview 17/18: East Grinstead Town

The latest in our series of supporters predictions features Mark Stevens, representing East Grinstead Town.

We asked a supporter from each of our member clubs to answer the same series of questions as part of our preview of the new season. We also asked them to predict how their particular division would finish, from one to 24- and their answers will be revealed in a collection of Supporters Prediction Tables to be released the day before the big kick off.

Here are the answers of Mark Stevens, representing East Grinstead Town

1. What was your favourite moment of last season?

4-2 at Home to Cray Wanderers. We did the double over them and outplayed them both times.

2. And what was the worst moment?

Losing six-nil to Herne Bay. Matt Longhurst resigned, the players looked completely out of sorts, it was awful.

3. How will you do this season?

Lower mid-table!

4. Which matches are you most looking forward to- and why?

Ashford Utd, Phoenix Sports, Thamesmead Town, VCD Athletic. It’s nice to get to a new ground!

5. What is your favourite away ground?

Lewes is always good. And Cray Wanderers.

6. Who do you consider your biggest rivals- and why?

Three Bridges. And Guernsey!

7. What advice would you give to an away supporter visiting you for the first time?

Arrive early. We do have a car park, but it isn’t all that big.

8. Who is your favourite player (for your club) of all time- and why?

There are plenty so I can’t pick just one! Alan Chambers, Matt Thorpe, Ben Burns and Drew Cooney to name a few.

9. Finally, predict who will fill the top five positions at the end of the forthcoming season:

Greenwich Borough, Corinthian Casuals, Carshalton Athletic, Lewes, South Park.

Where next?

The Bostik Friday Interview: Promotion Man Five Seasons, Five Clubs, Five Titles. One Player.
Bostik Supporters Preview 17/18: Aveley The next of our season previews features Aveley, soon to move into their new home and represented by supporter Richard Chambers.
