Davis leaves the Brickies

Sittingbourne begin the search for a new manager

Sittingbourne FC have announced that manager Nick Davis has left the club following today's defeat by Horsham.

After showing excellent form earlier in the season, The Brickies have been on a downward spiral of late with only two wins- and nine losses- from the last eleven games. We understand that after the Hornets left Woodstock Park with a 3-1 victory this afternoon, Davis offered his resignation to the board, which was accepted. Tony Cornwell has left too, and the club have expressed their thanks to both for all that they have achieved over the past five years, and wished them well for the future.

More news on this matter when we have it, but for a very brief statement please visit the club website here.
