Dorking sign Golden Boot winner

From Kingstonian to Wanderers, Elliott heads to Meadowbank

Earlier this evening Kingstonian announced that Elliott Buchanan had left King George's Field, but didn't mention his destination. So supporters from across the Bostik League waited, wondered and speculated- and most seem to have come up with the right answer!

Dorking Wanderers have now announced that the striker has moved the relatively short distance from Tolworth to Meadowbank.

Buchanan has scored fifteen goals this season- some way short of the thirty nine he got for Staines Town in the previous campaign- but having now joined the league leaders there's every chance that the total will rise substantially between now and May. Speaking to the Wanderers website manager Marc White expresses his delight at his new signing:

“Elliott’s a player we first showed an interest in last summer. He has been a prolific striker at this level of football and he comes into an already competitive squad where, like everyone else, he’ll be playing to earn his place. His arrival offers more attacking options and will give us all a lift for the final eleven games of the campaign.”

Buchanan is expected to be in the squad for the visit of Bishop's Stortford on Saturday.

Where next?

Hawks hit the heights, Blues held by Blues, whilst Green Elephants have a night they’d like to forget… …whilst elsewhere, Brentwood get five and Heath march on. It’s our round up.
It’s a big night at the bottom! The bottom three in the Premier Division are in action tonight- and we also have matches in the North and South East Divisions. Much better than that tournament for people who weren’t actually Champions at all…
