Hawks lure Scholars defender

Harlow Town

Harlow manager Danny Chapman was 'delighted' to beat off stiff competition from a number of Ryman Premier rivals for defender Josh McLeod-Urquhart.

The versatile 21-year-old centre half, pictured, opted to join Chapman's Ryman North squad from Potters Bar Town this week with a number of top flight clubs reported to be expressing an interest in his services.

At home in defence or midfield, McLeon-Urquhart won both the supporters' and managers' player of the year awards at the Southern Division One Central outfit last season. He was previously on the books at Northwood and St Albans City.
