KO ace Hallett does it again

CONCORD went through to the Isthmian League Cup semi-finals with a comfortable 2-0 home win over Wroxham tonight (Tuesday).


The Ryman North side held out against the Premier promotion-chasers until the 51st minute, when knockout specialist Jason Hallett broke the deadlock with his 18th cup goal of the season. He has scored only three times in the league.

Adetayo Osifuwa made sure with six minutes left and Concord will now entertain Hastings in their semi-final. The other outstanding quarter-final between Dulwich and Kingstonian was postponed again.
