Transfer news from Heybridge Swifts, Aveley, Greenwich Borough and AFC Sudbury

A collection of Monday transfers!

Heybridge Swifts have brought in midfielder Ahmed Abdulla- the former Barnet man effectively operating as a replacement for skipper Lewis Dark, who it is suspected is suffering from a broken foot. Abdulla joins from Ware, and will leave a gaping hole in the centre of the North Division strugglers midfield, as well as leaving manager John Dreyer to decide on a new captain. Here’s how Swifts announced the signing..

Jake Gordon has left Aveley, and will henceforth undoubtedly be known as Flash and sung about by James Beardwell, as it has been confirmed that he has joined Witham Town. More news here.

Greenwich Borough have also signed a midfielder- on loan, and from Leyton Orient. Rian McLean, who has previously had spells at Margate and Hendon, will be available this weekend if the weather doesn’t get in the way. More here.

And finally, AFC Sudbury have released winger Jake Clowsley, and understand he’s about to return to Brightlingsea Regent- more here.
