New signings for Robins and Woods

By Ian Townsend

Bracknell and Northwood build on their winning starts

Bracknell Town and Northwood both began their new stints as Bostik League clubs with victory at the weekend, but neither have rested on those laurels, strengthening their squads further with signings announced last night and this morning.

Northwood have brought in striker Ned Clarke and defender Keir Dickson. Both spent time with the club last season on loan from Wingate & Finchley, and indeed Clarke featured in the first team at Summers Lane as recently as the end of last season. Dickson has also previously turned out for Barnet, Fleetwood Town and Hayes & Yeading United. Read more on those deals here.

The Robins have gone back to FA Vase winners Thatcham Town for the third time, adding to the earlier signings of Liam Ferdinand and Josh Helmore with the capture of midfielder Harrison Bayley. You can read about that signing on the Football in Bracknell website, as it is not yet mentioned on the club site, however is confirmed on social media here.
