Hythe Town are celebrating the signing of a major new sponsorship deal with less than four weeks to go before the 2013-14 Ryman League campaign kicks off.

Within days of their appointments earlier this week, new Chairman John Dossett and Commercial Manager Peter Cuffe have agreed a two-year sponsorship deal with GSE Group.

The Hythe-based building, civil engineering and construction experts have paid the Ryman South's Reds an undisclosed fee in return for main sponsorship rights.

The sponsorship package will see the club's new home shirts bear the name ‘Hythe Imperial Hotel’ while‘GSE Group’ will feature on the away kit and first team tracksuits. ‘Imperial Green Homes’ will adorn the back of both strips.

The benefits included in the agreement will be popular with the club's playing staff and management. As part of the deal, GSE Group will also be aiding the club directly on the field of play throughout next season as first team players and coaches will be able to use the facilities of the Hythe Imperial Leisure Club, based inside the GSE Group-owned Hythe Imperial Hotel and Spa, free of charge.

Hythe's Cuffe is pictured left alongside GSE Contracts Surveyor Josh Healey, Hythe Imperial Hotel & Spa Manager Joe Betteridge and Dowsett at the official unveiling of the deal.

The club's new men were both delighted to sign off the deal within days of their appointments at Reachefields while GSE expressed their 'pride' at teaming up with the Kent town's football club.

Cuffe said: "We are delighted to have Hythe Imperial Hotel and GSE Group as our main sponsors and feel that we can achieve great things together over the next two years, benefitting both parties as well as the local area."

Dowsett added: "This partnership can bring tremendous synergy to both parties. There is now the possibility of a range of unique football, golf and accommodation packages which is also unique for a club of our size."

GSE's Healey said: "As a Hythe-based business, we are immensely proud to show our support of the town’s football club by becoming main sponsors for the next two years."

* Hythe Town kick off their pre-season campaign on Saturday when Ryman Premier Margate visit Reachfields for a 3pm kick-off. The Reds are hosting a 'Happy Hour' after the game which will be followed by a supporters and volunteers get-together from 6pm. The event will include the chance to meet new Chairman Dowsett and new Commercial Manager Cuffe.
